Her career continued to evolve as she gained hands-on experience in a veterinary clinic, hospitality on The Las Vegas Strip, and two AmeriCorps service terms. Each role reinforced her commitment to exceptional care and service, laying the foundation for her professional approach.

Since 2008, Alexia has built an extensive career in communications, marketing, and creative production. Her expertise spans public radio, print and digital news, digital marketing, Fortune 50 financial institutions, and a top-rated healthcare system. Beginning as a student journalist, she quickly advanced to Chief Copy Editor, freelance journalist, and radio show host and producer. She has spearheaded cross-channel digital campaigns to elevate storytelling, integrated social media strategies to drive engagement, and secured high-profile commentary on critical news and events.

In 2018, Alexia founded Peanut Productions, collaborating with select entrepreneurs and businesses to craft authentic, dynamic marketing and communications strategies that bring their visions to life.

Simultaneous to this professional path, Alexia’s personal journey of Yoga began in 2006 as a way to heal from loss and trauma. In 2018 it would become vital in her recovery from addiction. That same year, she completed Yoga Teacher Training and launched Peanut Yogini Yoga. Clients choose from private Yoga instruction, small Yoga group private classes, and are invited to a free, monthly community gathering. Alexia holds four certifications and incorporates elements of Yoga's eight limbs into every class.

Alexia’s professional journey began at just 12 years old, fueled by her determination to afford a Corgi puppy and shopping trips to Limited Too—luxuries beyond her working-class family’s means. Eager to achieve her goals, she persuaded her parents to sign a work release, allowing her to spend weekends at Atlasta Farm. These formative experiences instilled in her a strong work ethic and self-starting attitude.
